[MANIFESTATION MONDAY #8: Imaginal Act: An Old Friend]

Welcome to the eighth week of Manifestation Monday! Each week we will be posting a manifestation technique so that you may follow along and manifest with the group! The objectives are to 1) apply and get acquainted with the technique of the week so that you may use it in your every day life to achieve your greatest desires, and 2) build your faith to prove that YOU are capable of manifesting your desires by yourself.

Manifestation Monday General Rules:

Comment below, indicating that you are participating. DO NOT SHARE YOUR DESIRE.

In a discrete location, write down the desire you will be applying the technique to. One which you believe you are capable of manifesting within one week's time. SHARE IT WITH NO ONE. Be as specific as possible with your desire so that at the at the end of the 7 days you will be able to know that the desire was fulfilled without any variables.

Follow the technique as outlined.

When the manifestation has occurred, which it invariably will, share your results with the group!

Imaginal Act: An Old Friend. - Manifest Getting in contact with an old friend.

Is there someone whom you lost contact with? Is there someone whom you haven't heard from in a long time? Someone you miss? Well this Manifestation Monday is to run into, receive a message from, or in some way connect with an old friend!

An imaginal act is a scene that you play in your imagination which embodies the fulfilled desire of your choice. The goal of an imaginal act is to enter a defined moment in time which will represent your life when your desire is already fulfilled. In order to achieve the best results, please choose the scene beforehand so as to have a clearly defined path when entering the hypnotic, meditative state; and not be confused or wondering what to imagine when you enter the drowsy, sleepy state.

There are two ways that I can think of getting in contact with an old friend. I'll list the first way, then the second way, and then the actual steps to the visualization for both ways.

The first way would be to be specific, thinking of an exact person you wish to get in touch with you some way. Think of that person whom you desire to connect with. Consider what they look like, what their personality is like, what they would say, etc. Jot this down. Then contemplate a scene which would embody the end result. That is -- some event or scene which embodies after-the-fact. Something that would happen if and only if you actually had connected with them.

For instance, perhaps you could be saying your "goodbye's" to each other. That would embody a fulfilled state which means that you were talking to each other. Just to be clear, the reason behind thinking of the END and not the actual STEPS TO ACCOMPLISHING THE END, is because your awareness, or the God within you will take the images you impress on your imagination and recreate it in reality. And it will do so in the most perfect way. So if you are visualizing the steps that it would take to contact someone, or the hurdles it would take, then you will manifest those as well. So when you take the END, in a way that you could not consciously conceive, God will use you and everyone else in this world to bring it into fruition -- no matter what.

The second way, which is the one I am going to use, personally, is to be generic. I do not have someone specific in mind, but I would like for someone whom I haven't spoken to in a very long time to reach out to me in some way or another. The way to do this, since we have to define the end, is to think of a different style of scene that would embody this. One way would to be to tell your family that you ran into an old friend. Or imaginally write a post on God's game about how you ran into an old friend. Use your creativity. Think of an end result which would happen IF and only IF your desire had been fulfilled.

Once you have figured out what type of End you want, that is when you enter the "drowsy, sleepy state", which is the same thing as the "prayer state", or the "state akin to sleep", or a "hypnotic state", and you visualize the scene in first person. First person just means that instead of watching the scene as if you were watching yourself on a screen, you are ACTAULLY PLAYING THE ROLE YOURSELF. You are looking through your own eyes. You see your hands. When you look down, you see your feet. When you are in this state, play the scene over and over again. The key is to make the imaginal act as real as possible. That is, see what you would see, feel what you would feel, emotionally, physically, mentally, etc. Repeat it until it takes on all the tones of reality. Since you have thought it out before hand, your mind should not be wandering to-and-fro'. If it is, bring it back to the proper visualization. Once you have done this, and it seems as real as it can get, then release it.

All creation, as Neville says, takes place in the state of sleep, or that state which is like sleep -- the, sleepy drowsy state. The creative you is the fourth-dimensional you whose home is simply the state you enter when men call you asleep.

For beginners, it make take up to 15 or 20 minutes to get to the point where you can focus on your imaginal acts without your mind wandering. For others, or for people who practice meditation, it may take only 1 minute. Either way, make sure your mind is clear before you enter the imaginal act -- or as clear as it can be.

When you let go, try as best as you can to completely forget about the desire. This is the best case scenario. If you have succeeded in visualizing clearly, and 'real'-ly, it is done.

The goal is to project a scene that embodies the COMPLETION of the desire. We are viewing it as if there is no more work left to do. It is already done. Do not think of the "how it will be achieved", the subconscious mind will take care of ALL of that stuff. Remember, this is GOD within you. Congratulations! You are experiencing life from the standpoint that the objective is already complete. There should be no struggle. There is nothing left to do. Just enjoy the completed outcome!

WRITING THE SCENE TIPS:

Use Your Senses:

Jot down what you would see, what you would smell, what you would touch, what you would feel physically, what you would taste, and what you would hear.

Use Your Emotions:

What would you be feeling in that state? Would you feel excited? Joyous? Prosperous? Energized? Relieved?

People:

Who would be in your scene? What would they say? What would you say?

Setting:

Where would you be? What time of day would it be? What would the weather be like?

Conclusion: When your manifestation unfolds, it may trigger a lot of questions in your mind, such as, "does that mean that people are under my control?", "I wonder what they thought to get in touch with me in the first place...", "Were they going to do that anwyay?" These questions are normal, but I tell you from experience, that everything in this reality is a projection of our own mind. With practice and perseverence, you will be able to manifest all of your desires. There is no limitation to this.

That none doth build a stately habitation

But he that means to dwell therein. "
